The Tastemaker Network (“we”, “us”) operates the website at tastemaker.sg and the curated network described on it. If you have a question about anything below, write to us at privacy@tastemaker.sg.

We only collect information you give us, and only through the application forms on this site.

Tastemaker applications:name, email, city, your handles on TikTok, Lemon8, and Instagram, the platform you’re most active on, a link to one piece of your content, and the free-text fields you choose to fill in.

Venue inquiries: venue name, your name, role, email, phone (optional), location, venue type, and the free-text fields you choose to fill in.

We do not run cookies on this site, do not use third-party analytics, and do not embed tracking pixels. If that ever changes, we’ll update this page first.

We use what you give us to:

• evaluate your application or inquiry,
• communicate with you about the network and any hosted experiences we may invite you to,
• and run the operational side of the network — matching tastemakers to venues, briefing, follow-up.

That’s it. We don’t use your data for advertising. We don’t enrich it from third parties. We don’t build profiles of you outside the network’s matching context.

Inside our team, only the people running the network see applications. We use Resend to deliver application notification emails. In time, we may use Supabase or a similar service to store applications more durably than email — if we do, we’ll update this page before that change ships.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with venues or other tastemakers without your consent — specifically, we will only share your profile with a venue when you have agreed (explicitly or implicitly, by accepting a placement) to be considered for it.

We keep applications for as long as you might reasonably want us to consider you for the network. If we say “not yet” or “not us,” we may keep your application on file for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it. If you accept membership, we keep your data for the duration of your participation, plus a reasonable period after, for tax, audit, and legal reasons.

You can ask us to:

• show you what data we hold about you,
• correct anything that’s wrong,
• delete your application from our records.

Email privacy@tastemaker.sg and we’ll act on it within 30 days. If you’re in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (e.g. PDPA in Singapore, GDPR in the EU/UK), we’ll honour them.

The Tastemaker Network is not designed for, and is not intended to be used by, anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from people under 18.

If we change this policy in a material way, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. For applicants and members on file, we’ll send a note by email.

This policy is governed by the laws of Singapore. We’ll cooperate with any data-protection authority that has jurisdiction over your application.
